Systems Architect

Two Six Technologies is looking for a Technical Lead who will partner with our Program and Product Managers to outline technical design and delivery of a new, key custom application capability vital to our customer’s mission set. Together, you will work to ensure development and delivery of the overall technical architecture and management of the technical team. You will also help ensure the program is successfully delivering using sound DevOps, agile, and agency-specific practices.

• Demonstrated experience architecting event-driven systems
• Demonstrated experience developing Java and/or Go applications
• Demonstrated experience developing and deploying containerized microservices
• Experience using code repositories such as Git
• Experience with resilient systems in multiple data centers
• Experience with Linux, Jira/Confluence, GitLab, GIT, RDBMS, messaging/queuing technologies
• Experience with AWS cloud solutions, serverless frameworks
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Demonstrated experience documenting code artifacts, JIRA tickets, and related processes
• Ability to build libraries for third parties to interact with and leverage
• Ability to run to ground end-to-end issues, especially with multiple integrations
• Assist in the design and development of new capabilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university

Keys for Success:

• 7 to 10+ years of Java/Go development experience
• 3 to 5+ years of Cloud platform development
• 7 to 10+ years of unit testing experience

Nice If You Have Experience with:

• Experience with satellite systems and operations such as mission management, planning and scheduling, or command and telemetry
• SIGINT domain experience
• Experience developing multi-threaded systems
• Experience with AWS Lambda and related technologies

Clearance Requirement:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Salary is one component of our total compensation package and the specific salary offered is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Salary Range

$139,676 - $209,513 USD
