Job description

Enterprise Architect with experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level IT solutions. Experience in aligning technology strategies with business goals, optimizing IT infrastructure, and leading cross-functional teams. Adept at driving digital transformation initiatives and ensuring robust security and compliance standards.

The domain architect will be responsible for the architecture strategy, target architecture and transition plan for the DWS Core Business & operations area.

Your responsibilities -

As an Enterprise & Domain Architect, you will:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring it aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Technology Integration: Oversee the integration of new technologies and processes into the existing IT environment, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Standards and Governance: Establish and enforce architectural standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the IT infrastructure and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Requirements

  • Enterprise Architecture expertise with strong TOGAF knowledge, certification, or practical application in large-scale organisations.
  • Proven experience developing technology strategies and architecting solutions across Finance, Risk, and operational business domains.
  • Strong capability in IT strategy, target-state architecture, roadmap development, and transformation planning.
  • Experience leading digital transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption, platform modernisation, and automation programmes.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools, emerging technologies, and their application within enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering scalable, resilient, and business-aligned technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IT governance, architecture standards, risk controls, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders and drive strategic outcomes.
  • Must have significant experience within the Finance or Banking industry.
  • Experience within the Asset Management industry, with an understanding of investment and operational business processes.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
