Full-Stack Engineer

You will work across Front End, Back End, architecture, and platform topics, taking ownership of technical initiatives from initial concept through to production. The team is looking for a broad, adaptable engineer who can understand how complex systems fit together rather than specialising exclusively in one part of the stack., * Design, develop, and maintain applications across Front End and Back End systems.

• Contribute to the architecture and continued evolution of a rapidly growing software platform.
• Take ownership of technical initiatives from initial concept through design, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develop scalable Back End services and modern Front End applications.
• Work across multiple programming languages and technologies depending on the technical challenge.
• Apply strong system thinking to understand how Front End, Back End, infrastructure, and surrounding services interact.
• Incorporate security considerations into application and platform development.
• Use modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software engineering workflows.
• Review, validate, and improve AI-generated code and technical solutions rather than relying on generated output without evaluation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, and company leadership on technical decisions.
• Challenge existing approaches and contribute to decisions around architecture, technologies, and product development.
• Work with a high degree of autonomy in a self-organised product engineering environment.

This role is ideal for a highly autonomous engineer with strong full-stack capabilities, architectural experience, an interest in security, and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and programming languages., * 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with technical ability and breadth valued more highly than years of experience alone.

• Strong Full-Stack software development experience across both Back End and Front End technologies.
• Experience with multiple programming languages and the ability to quickly become productive in unfamiliar technology stacks.
• Experience with Back End technologies such as Go, Java, Kotlin, and/or Spring Boot.
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern Front End development.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and how different components of a software platform interact.
• Experience or a strong technical interest in application security, authentication, authorisation, IAM, or secure software development.
• Practical experience using modern AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and make independent technical and architectural decisions.
• Strong ownership mentality with the ability to organise and drive technical work independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving product environment where technologies and requirements can evolve quickly.
• Fluent English; German skills are advantageous but not required.
• Willingness to work from the Munich office approximately 2-3 days per week.
