Can independently lead technical discovery, produce architecture artifacts, challenge weak assumptions, facilitate decisions, mentor teams, and communicate clearly with executives and business stakeholders

Experience moving hundreds of legacy sites to AEM and being able to own the process or give advice on changes.

AEM architecture

5+ years architecting AEM solutions, including recent AEM as a Cloud Service experience. Deep knowledge of AEM Sites, Assets/DAM, Core Components, editable templates, workflows, Sling, OSGi, JCR, HTL, Java, and REST APIs.

Enterprise migrations

Led at least one complex migration from Sitecore, legacy CMS, agency-managed platforms, or multiple CMSs into AEM. Must have owned architecture, not only development.

Multi-site and multi-brand

Designed shared component and template strategies with governed brand, region, locale, or property variation. Experience with MSM, localization, translation, and rollout governance is strongly preferred.

Architecture quality

Demonstrated ability to reduce custom code, use upgrade-safe patterns, enforce code quality, define non-functional requirements, and make build-versus-reuse decisions.
