• Analysis and development of existing platforms, tools and engineering processes
• Design of target architectures and technical solutions for platform engineering, software development and operation
• Identification and evaluation of automation and optimization potential
• Design and integration of AI/GenAI solutions, in particular based on LLMs, RAG and AI agents
• Evaluation of new technologies, platforms and tools and implementation of proof of concepts
• Defining technical standards, best practices, and governance guidelines for platform and AI solutions
• Advice and support for engineering teams as well as cooperation with specialist areas, manufacturers and architecture committees
• Preparation of technical decision bases, documentation and recommendations

• Several years of professional experience in solution architecture, software architecture, platform engineering, cloud engineering or DevOps
• Profound knowledge of modern software, platform and integration architectures
• Experience with cloud/container technologies, CI/CD, APIs, and modern DevOps practices
• Good knowledge of generative AI and LLM-based solutions, such as RAG, AI Agents, prompt/context engineering, and AI APIs
• Understanding security, privacy, and governance requirements for platform and AI solutions
• Experience in evaluating new technologies and creating architecture and solution concepts
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills as well as excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical teams, departments and stakeholders

To support our team, we are looking now and full-time (38.5 hours per week). There is a minimum basic salary of EUR 64,554.00 gross per year under the collective agreement for this position.
