Job description

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support, maintain, and enhance an internally developed Warehouse Management System (WMS) platform supporting fulfillment, inventory, and shipping workflows
  • Assist in modernizing legacy systems and migrating functionality from Google Apps Script/Sheets into a modern backend stack
  • Build and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations using Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL
  • Develop and support responsive frontend applications using React
  • Improve system reliability, monitoring, logging, and observability for operational stability during high-volume periods
  • Collaborate with internal engineers and nearshore development teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver new features
  • Document technical workflows, APIs, and architecture to support scalability and operational continuity

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience in production environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Node.js
  • TypeScript
  • PostgreSQL
  • React
  • Experience contributing to modernization or migration of legacy systems
  • Understanding of API development, database schema design, and query optimization
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with evolving requirements
  • Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • ERP systems
  • Fulfillment/logistics operations
  • Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, or Snowflake exposure
  • Observability/monitoring tooling experience

Benefits & conditions

Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 per year
