This is a Senior Frontend Engineer position at the heart of the product engineering team, building fast, reliable and intuitive interfaces for large scale, media heavy applications. You will shape the user experience behind complex, data heavy workflows, working closely with backend engineers, product and design to deliver React applications that balance performance, usability and maintainability across mission critical systems.

The stack is modern and well considered. React and TypeScript with Tanstack Router and Query, tRPC for type safe APIs spanning frontend and backend, AWS Lambda and CDK, React Vite and Next.js monorepos with Turbo and pnpm, Vitest and Playwright for testing, Zod validation and Shadcn UI components.

What you will need:

• 5 or more years of professional TypeScript and JavaScript development across frontend and backend
• Solid Node.js experience building production APIs and backend services
• Expert level React with modern patterns across SPA applications
• Strong experience with modern build tools including Vite, Turbo and webpack
• Solid monorepo management experience
• A pragmatic approach to engineering - you value simplicity, type safety and clarity
• Experience taking features from requirements through to production

Nice to Have:

• Experience with tRPC and the Tanstack ecosystem including Query, Router and Table
• AWS CDK exposure
• Tailwind CSS and Shadcn or Radix component libraries
• Zod validation and Playwright end to end testing
• Performance optimisation and Web Vitals experience
• React Native
