Senior DevOps Engineer

Are you a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong, hands-on Kubernetes experience and a track record of building and improving automated delivery pipelines? We’re working with a growing technology business in Belfast that is continuing to invest in its engineering and DevOps capability. This is a senior, hands-on position focused on reducing manual processes, strengthening deployment automation and helping shape the next phase of the company’s platform. You’ll have the opportunity to introduce new ideas, influence technical decisions and support the development of other engineers. What you’ll be doing Build and improve automation across the software delivery lifecycle. Design, maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines. Build and manage containerised workloads using Kubernetes. Use Infrastructure as Code and scripting to improve consistency and reliability. Work closely with developers while coaching and mentoring less experienced engineers. What we’re looking for You’ll ideally have: Strong

experience in a DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering role. In-depth, hands-on Kubernetes experience, including configuring deployments and stateful workloads. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including solutions created from scratch. Experience with a major cloud platform such as Azure, AWS or GCP. Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform or similar tooling. Scripting or programming experience using Python, Bash or Groovy The confidence to share ideas, challenge constructively and provide technical guidance to others. Experience with observability tooling, DevSecOps practices, vulnerability management or running data services in cloud and containerised environments would be beneficial but is not essential.
