Linux System Administrator

Belay Technologies is seeking a System Administrator (SA) to join our Intel team. The SA will provide Linux systems administration and operational support for mission-critical environments, including command-line system administration and application, data, and messaging flow management., * Support implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and daily operations of IT systems.

• Provide Tier I and Tier II problem identification, diagnosis, escalation, and resolution.
• Configure and manage Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems.
• Install and load operating system software and troubleshoot system issues.
• Monitor systems and resolve problems involving client/server, storage, network, mobile, and other IT devices.
• Manage system configuration, resource utilization, capacity analysis, reliability, and performance.
• Support application, data, and messaging flows.
• Provide technical support and status updates to agency management and internal customers.
• Troubleshoot dispatch system and hardware problems through resolution.
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback on escalated tickets.

• TS/SCI with polygraph required
• SA1: 5 years of experience with no degree required
• SA2: 10 years of experience with no degree required
• SIGINT and linux experience
• Five years of experience supporting applications in a SIGINT environment desired

Additional Desired Skills

• Three years of experience configuring, troubleshooting, monitoring, and administering messaging services such as JMS, TIBCO, ActiveMQ, Artemis, or Kafka.
• IAT Level I or applicable IA baseline certification in Linux, UNIX, Windows, or Cisco OS.

Salary Range: $120,000.00 to $157,500.00, Invitation for Job Applicants to Self-Identify as a U.S. Veteran
