Job description

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Cyber Security Project Manager for a high-profile project. Candidate will lead and coordinate enterprise-wide PCI DSS compliance initiatives, partnering with Information Security Governance and IT PMO teams. This role will oversee project planning, execution, reporting, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration while providing subject matter expertise on PCI DSS and cybersecurity project delivery., * Lead and oversee PCI DSS compliance initiatives from planning through execution and delivery.

  • Partner with the Enterprise PMO, IT PMO, Information Security Governance, and Lines of Business to coordinate enterprise PCI efforts.
  • Provide PCI DSS subject matter expertise, guidance, and coaching to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, dependencies, reporting, and governance activities.
  • Coordinate and oversee internal resources, technical leads, SMEs, business partners, and third-party vendors involved in project execution.
  • Track project financials, support forecasting activities, and ensure successful delivery within established budget and timeline constraints.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of project management experience with at least 5+ years supporting cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk initiatives.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-wide PCI DSS compliance implementation projects, not limited to annual audits or assessments.
  • Experience working in banking/financial services.
  • Strong working knowledge of PCI DSS standards, controls, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives involving technical teams, business stakeholders, PMOs, and third-party vendors.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and frameworks including NIST, cloud technologies, IAM, vulnerability management, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, technical teams, and business partners.
  • Experience managing project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting preferred.
  • PMP, CSM, CAPM, CSPM, CISSP-Associate, or equivalent certification preferred.
