Job description
- We support partner go-to-market motions by providing technical guidance, thought leadership on AI-assisted development, code modernization, and developer productivity.
- We enable AWS partners and internal AWS teams on the adoption and usage of AI-Driven Development Lifecycle methodologies and AI-native IDEs, including positioning, workshop delivery, and customer engagement across the full lifecycle.
- We create best practices and architectural guidance on next-generation software development and act as the technical reference for next-gen development for the EMEA Partner Organization.
- We collaborate with AWS account teams, professional services, and commercial sales to bridge partner capabilities with customer demand for next-generation development.
- We build prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions that demonstrate AI-DLC methodology in practice.
- We represent partner needs to AWS service teams, including Kiro and the AI-DLC program, influencing roadmaps and advocating for features that accelerate partner adoption.
- We contribute to the Partner Solutions Architecture community through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and hiring.
- We run AI-DLC workshops with consulting partners and demonstrate how to position AI as a collaborator in sprint planning and code generation while maintaining human oversight on architecture decisions.
- We demonstrate Kiros spec-driven development capabilities to ISV partners.
- We create reusable enablement assets, guide partners through AI-DLC accreditation, and collaborate with AWS field teams to match partner capabilities with customer demand for AI-powered development.

We are part of the EMEA Partner Solutions Architecture organization within the AWS Partner Organization. Our team serves as a scale engine for AWS by recruiting, activating, and developing partners, and we provide technical enablement and thought leadership that helps partners build and sell solutions on AWS. This role sits within our Solutions PSA team, which drives AWS growth through differentiated partner solutions in targeted industries and horizontals, including NextGen Development and AI-driven software engineering. We operate across EMEA with close collaboration across commercial sales, industry SAs, and the broader partner ecosystem. The role is based in Madrid with flexibility to travel across the region to work directly with partners and attend industry events.
Requirements
- We require a bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
- We require experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.
- We require experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
- We require knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
- We require a technical degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent and/or relevant industry experience.
- We require experience in software development, application architecture, or DevOps engineering.
- We require working knowledge of modern software development practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and containerization.
- We require familiarity with at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, TypeScript, Go, or .NET.
- We require experience designing and delivering technical workshops or enablement sessions to engineering audiences.
- We require experience working in a partner-facing or channel-facing technical role.
- We require fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and another European language.
- Preferred qualifications include cloud technology certification such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud DevOps Engineering.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AI-assisted development tools and methodologies, including agentic coding, spec-driven development, and AI pair programming.
- Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with application modernization, such as migrating legacy codebases, refactoring monoliths to microservices, or language/framework upgrades.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of generative AI foundations such as large language models, prompt engineering, context engineering, and retrieval augmented generation.
- Preferred qualifications include experience enabling or developing partner ecosystems such as system integrators, ISVs, and consulting firms.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with IDE extensibility, developer tooling, and software supply chain practices.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud-native application development on AWS, including Lambda, ECS/EKS, Step Functions, and CDK.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS certification such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional, or Developer Associate.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with public speaking, technical blogging, or producing educational content.
- Preferred qualifications include fluent written and verbal communication skills in an additional European language.
