Software Engineer

• 3+ years of Python development experience building back-end services
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI and/or Flask
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• Experience with automated test frameworks, including pytest
• Comfortable manipulating complex datasets
• Based within commuting distance of Belfast City Centre (3 days on-site required)
• Experience working in a client-facing or consultancy environment is a plus
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) is a plus

Client-facing Python roles with this level of genuine autonomy and technical influence do not come up often. Getting hands-on experience shaping architecture and design decisions directly with clients, early in your career, is an advantage that compounds quickly.

Salary £50,000. Hybrid working… 3 days in a modern Belfast City Centre office. This is an exclusive role through Ocho People and will not be advertised elsewhere.
