Job description

  • Full Stack Developer role on a GenAI platform program at a major global enterprise
  • Python, TypeScript, React and Node.js with AWS and Azure cloud architecture
  • Work at the cutting edge of enterprise AI - building and scaling production GenAI systems used across global operations
  • Hybrid working
  • Salary up to £45,000

Why This Organisation

If you want to build production GenAI systems that actually get used - not prototypes, not proof of concepts, but real enterprise platforms deployed at scale across a global organisation - this is a role worth your attention.

Our client is a major global enterprise investing seriously in a unified GenAI strategy built across two complementary platforms. One is a broadly deployed AI assistant enhancing employee productivity through summarisation, Q and A, decision support and integration with internal systems. The other delivers advanced, use case specific GenAI capabilities embedded directly into underwriting and claims workflows. Together they represent one of the most ambitious and well resourced GenAI programs being built in industry right now.

This is not a company experimenting with AI on the side. It is a business embedding GenAI into its core operations at scale, with the infrastructure, investment and engineering resource to do it properly. For a developer who wants to work on real AI systems rather than talk about them, this is the kind of opportunity that is hard to find.

The Role and What It Can Do For Your Career

This is a Full Stack Developer position within the GenAI program, delivering front end and full stack engineering contributions aligned to the platform’s product priorities. You will work on feature implementation, system integration, cloud architecture, observability instrumentation and implementation best practices to support safe, scalable GenAI deployments.

The career value here is significant. GenAI engineering at enterprise scale is one of the most sought after areas of experience in the industry right now and supply is still far behind demand. Working on a production platform of this size, with responsible AI controls, cloud architecture, observability and secure coding standards all baked in, gives you a depth of practical experience that cannot be replicated in smaller or earlier stage environments. You will come out of this role with the kind of CV that opens doors.

The stack is Python, TypeScript, React and Node.js on the core side, with AWS and Azure cloud architecture, REST and GraphQL APIs, Docker and Kubernetes containerisation, CI and CD practices and observability tooling across logging, monitoring and tracing.

Requirements

  • Solid full stack development experience across Python, TypeScript, React and Node.js
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud architecture
  • Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Experience with containerisation using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of CI and CD practices
  • Familiarity with observability tooling including logging, monitoring and tracing
  • Awareness of secure coding principles and data protection standards
