Job description
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Architect to join a leading global professional services and technology organisation, supporting clients across Insurance and Financial Services with complex digital and technology transformation.
This role will focus on solution architecture, enterprise architecture, data, integration, AI, cloud and cyber, helping clients shape technology strategies and deliver transformational change. Key Responsibilities as an Insurance Architect
- Define and deliver enterprise and solution architecture across Insurance and Financial Services.
- Develop current-state, target-state, transition states, roadmaps and capability maps.
- Design solutions across applications, integration, data, AI, cloud and security.
- Deliver data integration designs, automation workflows, cloud strategy and proof-of-concept builds.
- Support the development of industry-specific architecture frameworks.
- Apply emerging technologies including AI, GenAI and agentic AI to solve business problems.
- Work across major Insurance and Financial Services transformation programmes.
- Contribute to architecture thought leadership and internal initiatives.
- Mentor junior colleagues and support the development of architecture capability.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in technology roles across areas such as data, applications, cloud, integration or security.
- Experience within Insurance, Financial Services or another regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, including data modelling, integration, governance, visualisation and migration.
- Experience with platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake or equivalent.
- Experience with an industry platform such as Guidewire, Sapiens, Duck Creek, FNZ, SS&C, Pershing, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics would be advantageous.
- Understanding of AI/GenAI, automation and modern data platforms.
- Experience operating across business and technology environments.
