Data Architect

A local government customer is seeking a Data Architect to join their team. Responsibilities consist of approximately 50% directly supporting DFAST initiatives through hands-on data architecture, Azure platform development, and database management. Another 25% will support ramp test efforts and associated engineering data requirements. The remaining 25% will involve partnering with other architects and engineering teams across the organization to develop scalable solutions, improve data accessibility, and support enterprise-wide digital engineering initiatives. Power BI will serve as a primary tool for data visualization and stakeholder reporting.

*Bachelors in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline

• 5+ years experience with designing and implementing Azure/AWS based data platforms and database environments

• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data modeling, and database design

• Experience utilizing python other programming languages to build data pipelines, integrations, automation, or engineering data solutions

*Experience working with large engineering, scientific, or technical datasets

• Ability to obtain a clearance * Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline

• Aerospace, aviation, research, or advanced manufacturing experience

• Experience building digital research, engineering, or aircraft design environments
