Systems Software Programmer / Claims UAT Tester

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Claims Operations systems
• Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) events
• Develop and manage UAT test plans and execution activities
• Perform positive and negative testing to validate business requirements
• Manage test case development, execution, defect tracking, and reporting
• Collaborate with IT, CORE, and Claims teams
• Participate in data mining and requirement review activities
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and mitigation plans
• Ensure all business requirements are validated prior to production release

• Bachelor’s Degree OR 8+ years of related work experience post high school, * 5+ years of information technology quality assurance and systems/application testing experience
• Experience performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
• Experience with unit, integration, and system testing
• Experience working with functional and technical Business Analysts
• Ability to understand business requirements and develop test scenarios
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing scope and timelines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of medical care, government programs, and commercial lines-of-business
• Project management certification and experience
• Bilingual language skills
