DescriptionLab/Microbiology Associate Technical Support Specialist (TSS)

• Serve as the initial contact for Lab and Microbiology client support issues.
• Document and manage tasks in the Case Management System.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of application, system, and hardware issues.
• Identify and escalate system-critical or complex issues.
• Gather diagnostic information and route tasks to the appropriate technical teams.
• Proactively communicate with clients regarding support needs.
• Maintain compliance with FDA, HIPAA, and departmental requirements.

• Associate degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant clinical experience may be considered.
• Two years of clinical laboratory, specimen processing, lab assistant, healthcare IT, or technical support experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Chemistry, Hematology, and/or Microbiology laboratory workflows preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, computer, and problem-solving skills.
