Director of Business Systems

Paradromics is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Business Systems to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise systems that support our fast-growing organization in Austin, TX. This role will oversee business-critical platforms across finance, operations, quality, and supply chain, ensuring systems are scalable, compliant, and aligned with company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, implementation, and ongoing management of core business systems (e.g., ERP, QMS, MRP, HRIS), in coordination with various stakeholders.

• Oversee system integrations and data architecture across platforms to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Partner with executive leadership to align systems roadmap with business goals and growth plans.

• Drive process optimization and automation across finance, manufacturing, quality, and commercial operations.

• Establish governance, change management, and system documentation best practices.

• Develop and maintain reporting and analytics capabilities to support decision- making.

• Oversee system security, user access controls, and data integrity in partnership with IT and cybersecurity teams.

• Proactively maintain system validation and documentation to ensure readiness for audits and regulatory inspections.

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards (e.g., GAAP, FDA, ISO 13485).

• Build and lead a high-performing business systems and applications team, including oversight of outsourced resources.

• Manage relationships with system vendors, consultants, and third-party providers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related fields.

• 10+ years of experience in business systems, enterprise applications, or IT leadership roles.

• Proven leadership in implementing and managing ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or comparable platforms.

• Strong understanding of business processes across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and operations.

• Experience with system integrations, data management, and process automation.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong knowledge of internal controls, data governance, and system security best practices.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills., * Experience in medical device, healthcare, defense, or other highly regulated industries.

• Experience scaling systems in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.

• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.

• Certifications such as PMP, CPA, or relevant ERP certifications.

• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar data analytics platforms.

• Experience using AI-enabled tools within enterprise systems and business processes.
