SAP Manufacturing Architect - PEO, DMC & QM

We are seeking an expert-level SAP Manufacturing Architect with experience across SAP Production Engineering and Operations (PEO), SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC), Quality Management (QM), and SAP Manufacturing Execution (ME). This consultant will support a Phase 0 Business Transformation Services engagement for a government client. The position is expected to be primarily remote. The selected consultant will be required to work onsite in Oak Ridge, TN, during the first two weeks and final two weeks of the engagement, as well as for occasional workshops or project events., * Lead the Manufacturing Strategy and SAP ME Transition Assessment workstream.

• Evaluate the capabilities of the client’s current SAP ME environment.
• Assess the fit of SAP PEO, SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud, and embedded S/4HANA manufacturing capabilities against the client’s requirements.
• Develop and apply a Manufacturing Decision Matrix.
• Evaluate potential solutions based on functional coverage, SAP NS2 deployability, operational continuity, and regulatory compliance considerations.
• Lead manufacturing process discovery workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Identify current-state gaps, dependencies, risks, and future-state manufacturing requirements.
• Develop the Manufacturing Solution Recommendation deliverable.
• Produce SAP ME transition and implementation sequencing recommendations.
• Advise stakeholders on the appropriate manufacturing technology strategy aligned with the broader S/4HANA transformation.

• Strong experience with SAP PEO, SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud, SAP QM, and SAP ME.
• Experience assessing SAP ME environments and developing transition strategies.
• Strong knowledge of embedded S/4HANA manufacturing capabilities.
• Experience comparing manufacturing platforms and recommending future-state solutions.
• Ability to evaluate functional coverage, deployment feasibility, operational continuity, and compliance requirements.
• Experience leading manufacturing process discovery workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Experience developing solution recommendations, decision matrices, roadmaps, and transition sequencing plans.
• Strong client-facing, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Must be available for onsite work in Oak Ridge, TN, during the first and final two weeks of the engagement.
• Must be a U.S. citizen without dual citizenship.
