Payload Integration and Test Engineer (ONSITE)

• Define and execute vehicle integration and test activities with systems, test, and program teams.
• Develop and run hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and on-vehicle test procedures.
• Maintain test objectives and ensure alignment with vehicle requirements.
• Participate in test planning, Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), execution, troubleshooting, and post-test analysis.
• Analyze and optimize data review methods and tools.
• Understand subsystem interactions and dependencies.
• Establish and enforce standards for test planning and documentation.

• Level II: Bachelor’s degree + 2-5 years of experience (or equivalent)
• Senior: Bachelor’s degree + 5-10 years of experience (or equivalent)
• Experience in fast-paced, small engineering teams
• Background in vehicle integration, ground, or flight testing
• Familiarity with avionics, instrumentation, software, fluid systems, propulsion, or structures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Familiarity with CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Jira)
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jama, Cameo, DOORS)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a Test Conductor
• Experience supporting major technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
• Knowledge of aerospace configuration control and change management
• Experience with hypersonic or air-launched vehicle programs
• Experience in technical risk identification and mitigation
• Experience with requirements definition and verification for advanced aerospace systems
• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Programming experience (MATLAB, Python)
• Advanced experience with CAD, Jira, and requirements tools, Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) to comply with ITAR regulations.
