Job description

As a Frontend Engineer at Sift, you’ll play a critical role in delivering the experiences that help thousands of users navigate and understand their organization. You’ll collaborate closely with our product engineering team to build features that bring exceptional user experiences to life across our web and mobile interfaces., * Develop and test very complex software solutions with minimal direction

  • Release and validate software, developing new deployment patterns as necessary
  • Lead software support, incident resolution and blameless reviews
  • Develop code modules and patterns useful within the team
  • Conduct exploratory or experimental work to develop prototypes
  • Guide code and design reviews for the team
  • Provide software documentation and demonstration for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Mentor team members on any of the above

Requirements

Do you have experience in Web applications?, * 5+ years of experience developing production-ready web applications

  • Proven ability to build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces across different web browsers
  • Deep understanding of React fundamentals, including hooks, state management, component architecture, and performance optimization
  • Proficiency in styling and interface development using component libraries like Material UI
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with Git version control and modern development workflows
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to debug complex UI issues
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and take ownership of your work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of TypeScript
  • Experience with performance monitoring and optimization
  • Experience developing mobile applications with React Native
  • Experience with putting together data visualization in the Web UI
  • Experience in incorporating tests, including unit, component, and end-to-end tests
  • Experience utilizing AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar. You enjoy using AI to boost productivity, improve code quality, or streamline development workflows.
