Job description
As a Sr. UI/UX Developer/Architect, you will lead the development of enterprise design systems and accessibility-first user interfaces that support scalable, reusable, and compliant digital experiences. This role requires deep expertise in WCAG accessibility standards, front-end architecture, and design system implementation to ensure consistency, usability, and accessibility across enterprise applications., Design, develop, and maintain enterprise design systems and reusable component libraries. Build accessible, scalable UI components using Angular, HTML, and SASS. Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 standards, including advanced accessibility requirements. Develop and document reusable components using Storybook. Create high-level wrapper components that promote consistency across applications. Conduct accessibility reviews, audits, and usability assessments. Collaborate with developers, UX teams, and stakeholders to establish design and accessibility standards. Provide mentorship and guidance on accessibility and design system best practices. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to front-end development standards. Support enterprise modernization initiatives by delivering accessible and user-centered solutions.
Requirements
5+ years of professional front-end development experience. Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise design systems and reusable component libraries. Strong expertise in WCAG 2.1/AAA accessibility standards, ARIA roles, semantic HTML, and accessibility testing. Advanced proficiency in Angular, HTML, and SASS development. Hands-on experience with Storybook for component development and documentation. Strong understanding of UX design principles, accessibility-first design, and user interface architecture. Experience working with USWDS or other enterprise-level design systems. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Experience conducting accessibility audits, code reviews, and compliance assessments. Familiarity with .NET, MVC, SQL, and enterprise application integration is preferred. The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry. cyberThink is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
