Job description

  • Lead front-end development using Angular, SASS, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Define front-end architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA, Section 508, Title I, and Title II accessibility requirements.
  • Implement and maintain USWDS (U.S. Web Design System) and State Design System standards.
  • Perform accessibility testing using JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, automated tools, and manual keyboard navigation.
  • Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and improve front-end CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Java backend teams for REST API integration.
  • Develop technical documentation and ensure secure development practices.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Angular, SASS, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proven experience as a Front-End Tech Lead / Senior UI Developer.
  • Accessibility Certification - CPACC, WAS, or Equivalent (Mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508.
  • Hands-on accessibility testing experience with JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, front-end architecture, and code reviews.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • USWDS / State Design System implementation.
  • Government or public-sector project experience.
  • Enterprise front-end architecture and reusable component libraries.
  • Experience working with Java backend teams.
