Systems Engineer

Join a dynamic team supporting cutting-edge missile systems at Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control headquarters in Grand Prairie, TX. This full-time onsite role offers a hybrid work schedule with Telework <50%. The Systems Engineer will contribute to system design, integration, and verification for advanced defense programs, ensuring missile system performance and safety. • Support system architecture analysis, including use cases, interfaces, and timing assessments.
• Capture and develop verification artifacts supporting Functional Configuration Audits (FCA).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure system integrity and mission success.
• Work onsite in a classified environment, with partial remote flexibility as needed.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM field.
• 3+ years of experience working with Cameo.
• Strong understanding of system design concepts and tradeoffs.
• Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with C++, MATLAB, Python.
• Knowledge of missile systems and DoD projects, including IAMD and Tactical Missiles.
• Familiarity with system architecture and ground/fire control systems.
• Eagerness to deepen understanding of missile and ground system operations.
