Data Center and Enterprise IT Operations Lead

The Data Center and Enterprise IT Operations Lead supervises personnel responsible for the operation, maintenance, and support of enterprise computer systems, infrastructure, and peripherals in a large-scale, mission-critical environment. The position provides technical and operational leadership for 24x7 IT operations, systems software planning and implementation, production support, data center engineering, and cybersecurity support. The incumbent interfaces with Government and contractor personnel, equipment and software vendors, and subordinate technical staff to resolve operational issues and ensure reliable, secure, and continuous IT services., Supervise and manage personnel supporting 24x7 enterprise IT and data center operations. Plan, coordinate, and oversee operating systems and systems software implementation. Lead production support, incident response, troubleshooting, and service restoration activities. Support engineering, operation, and maintenance of enterprise data center infrastructure. Manage virtualized computing environments, SAN/NAS infrastructure, email services, desktop services, and related enterprise technologies. Coordinate with Government personnel, contractors, vendors, and technical stakeholders. Direct subordinate personnel in resolving complex technical and operational issues. Support cybersecurity operations and coordinate security functions associated with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) continuous monitoring process. Assist with security compliance, vulnerability management, system configuration, patching, and continuous monitoring activities. Provide exceptional customer service across technical, operational, management, and Government stakeholder groups. Prepare, edit, and present technical documentation, reports, briefings, and graphical presentations. Establish and maintain operational procedures, documentation, and performance standards. Identify opportunities to improve system availability, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.

Clearance: TS/SCI - Must be eligible for and adjudicated at contract start Experience: 10+ years IT operations; 3+ years supervisory/management experience Certifications: Security+ required; MCSE required; CISSP required/preferred as applicable to contract requirements, Minimum 10 years of progressive experience operating and supporting computer systems. Minimum 3 years of supervisory and management experience in a 24x7 operational environment. Demonstrated experience in data center engineering and operations. Broad experience with: Virtualized environments SAN/NAS technologies Enterprise email services Desktop services Enterprise computing infrastructure Systems and operating-system administration Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service across all organizational levels. Must meet applicable DoD 8570.01-M ITA III requirements. Security+ certification required. MCSE certification required. CISSP certification required/preferred as applicable to contract requirements. Must be eligible for and adjudicated for TS/SCI clearance at contract start.
