Job description

Gather and analyse requirements in collaboration with Product Owners
Conduct functional analysis and incorporate requirements into technical specifications
Produce technical documentation using UML and data modelling techniques
Support API and SOA development within Agile and Scrum frameworks
Work with REST and SOAP web services, XML/JSON transformations, and messaging patterns
Support testing activities using tools such as SOAPUI, ReadyAPI, and Postman
Contribute to secure build pipelines and event-driven architecture implementations
Maintain version control using Git and manage work items through Jira and Confluence

Are you a Junior API/SOA Analyst with 1+ years of experience in API and SOA principles? Apply now for a long-term contract opportunity with a leading client in Belgium., * 1+ years of experience in API and SOA principles, including loose coupling and microservices

Requirements gathering and analysis, functional analysis, and alignment with Product Owners
Agile and Scrum methodologies (EUP, RUP, Scrum, Kanban)
REST and SOAP web services
XML/JSON transformations and data modelling
WSDL, SOAP, XML, XSD, XQuery, XPath, and XSLT
Event-driven architecture and messaging patterns
Testing methodologies using SOAPUI, ReadyAPI, and Postman
Technical documentation and UML
Version control using Git
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Mural, Miro, Jenkins, and ELK
Experience with full web-application lifecycle in an SOA environment
Secure build pipelines
Higher education or equivalent through experience
