Job description

Our client is looking for API Manager to strengthen their API Security & API Management practice. Openings across Senior, Medior and Junior levels. What you’ll be doing

Configuring, deploying and developing API Gateway solutions on a leading enterprise API management platform
Working across OpenAPI/Swagger/YAML specifications and JWT/JWK-based API security
Implementing OAuth2/OIDC authentication and authorisation flows
Supporting SOAP/WSDL/WS-Security integrations alongside modern REST APIs
Applying API & SOA design principles - microservices, loose coupling, event-driven architecture

Requirements

Hands-on experience with a leading API Gateway/API Manager platform or a directly comparable technology
Strong grasp of API security tooling and standards (JWT, JWK, OAuth2, OIDC)
Familiarity with SOA design patterns, Enterprise Integration Patterns, and secure build pipelines
Working knowledge of standard dev/collaboration tooling (version control, API testing tools, issue tracking, CI/CD)
Higher education or equivalent demonstrable experience Seniority bands
Senior - 10+ years’ relevant experience
Medior - 3+ years’ relevant experience
Junior - 1+ years’ relevant experience

Languages: Dutch, French or English (very good/professional working proficiency)
