Job description

Game District is looking for a Senior Game Developer - Unity to join one of our game development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Unity and C#, a solid understanding of game development fundamentals, and the ability to build, optimize, and maintain high-quality 2D and 3D mobile games., * Design, develop, and maintain high-quality 2D and 3D games using Unity and C#.

  • Develop gameplay systems, mechanics, UI, animations, physics, and other game features.
  • Write clean, scalable, optimized, and maintainable code.
  • Collaborate with Game Designers, Artists, QA, and other developers to implement game features.
  • Optimize games for performance, memory usage, loading times, and overall stability, particularly for mobile devices.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Integrate third-party SDKs, APIs, analytics, advertisements, and in-app purchases.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
  • Participate in technical discussions and contribute to improving development practices and workflows.
  • Stay updated with current Unity features, game development practices, and mobile gaming trends.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Unity game development.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Unity Engine and its core systems.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of SOLID principles.
  • Experience developing and shipping mobile games.
  • Strong understanding of game development concepts, including gameplay programming, physics, UI, animation, and optimization.
  • Experience working with Git/version control systems.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced game development environment.
