Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

This position is not limited to candidates with EE/ECE majors as long as they have a flair for problem solving, applied mathematics & statistical skills , suitable programming and coding background and are motivated to learn on the job., * Master’s degree in EE, ECE, CS , Applied Mathematics, Physics or other areas incorporating strong probability, machine learning, statistics and linear algebra components., Academic project experience or up to 5 year industry experience in at least one or more of the following areas:

• Communication theory, Applied mathematics & Statistics, Machine Learning, Convex Optimizations, Numerical Analysis, Signal Processing, Information Theory, Channel Coding, Statistical Learning Ability to program effectively in C/C++, Python and/or Matlab and the use of modern coding assistance tools

• Experience with key machine learning tools/libraries (TensorFLow, PyTorch, Keras etc), neural networks architectures and building models

up to 4 year’s Systems Engineering or related work experience. up to 2 years’ experience working in a large matrixed organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Passion for learning and intellectual curiosity.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $127,900.00 - $191,900.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
