Azure Synapse / Data Integration Engineer

Athena Consulting Group is seeking an Azure Synapse / Data Integration Engineer to support a State of Florida enterprise modernization initiative involving Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Synapse, and statewide financial system integrations., * Build and maintain Azure Synapse ingestion and transformation pipelines

• Implement operational data flows supporting enterprise business applications
• Support integration of external enterprise interface data into operational reporting and workflows
• Develop data validation, reconciliation, and exception-handling processes
• Support operational reporting and analytics enablement
• Collaborate with application delivery teams and Solution Architects
• Participate in Sprint ceremonies and backlog refinement activities
• Maintain deployment and technical documentation
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and production stabilization activities
• Work within enterprise ALM and release governance frameworks

Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, This role will focus on ingestion, transformation, validation, and operationalization of enterprise interface data supporting revenue and operational workflows. The ideal candidate combines strong Azure data engineering experience with practical Agile delivery capability inside structured enterprise environments.

Candidates must be highly delivery-oriented and comfortable operating within managed enterprise governance processes and milestone-driven Sprint execution.

• All work must be performed from within the United States
• Offshore or nearshore resources are not permitted
• Candidates must be available during Eastern Time business hours
