Push the physics of Genesis-World forward Ship production-ready simulation capabilities for Genesis AI’s internal needs Apply research end-to-end, from algorithm development to merged, tested, and documented code Improve simulation speed through larger stable timesteps, selective fidelity, and structure-aware solvers Expand physics coverage to water, human animation, airflow, gravel, tendons, and organs Improve fidelity of contact, friction, deformation, energy, actuation, and material models Build extensible, coupled multi-physics solvers and support an open solver ecosystem Improve scalability from workstation to factory scale and eventually city scale Develop physics level-of-detail, heterogeneous environments, adaptive timesteps, coupled solvers, scalable constraint solvers, unified contact resolution, and closed kinematic-loop handling Write physics in Python with Quadrants targeting multiple hardware backends Validate implementations against analytical closed forms, other engines, and
Requirements
real-world data Collaborate occasionally on groundbreaking research through academic partnerships Requirements Strong background in physics-based simulation, preferably related to robotics, including RBD, FEM, MPM, SPH, IPC, XPBD, VBD, and ABD Knowledge of constrained optimization and numerical integration of stiff systems Track record of shipping simulation code relied upon by others, in an engine, industry, or research codebase used beyond its authors Solid HPC programming on CPU and/or GPU Practical understanding of numerical-method performance beyond complexity classes Rigor in validation using analytical closed forms, cross-engine consistency, and real-world data Publications in simulation, graphics, or robotics venues are a bonus Contributions to an open-source physics engine are a bonus Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in physics-based simulation, algorithm development, and validation, with a strong focus on shipping production-ready code and improving simulation fidelity and performance. Proficient in Python programming for multi-physics solvers and capable of collaborating on advanced research initiatives.
