Job description

We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer - L2 to provide onsite technical support for end-user computing devices and enterprise IT environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in desktop support, device deployment, troubleshooting, imaging, and end-user support within SLA-driven enterprise environments.

This role requires excellent technical troubleshooting abilities, strong communication skills, and the capability to support both hardware and software-related issues while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction., * Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, docking stations, and other end-user hardware

  • Build, image, configure, and deploy new and replacement devices in accordance with company standards
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, enterprise applications, and approved software packages
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripheral-related issues with minimal business disruption
  • Support desk moves, device refresh projects, onboarding/offboarding activities, and asset recovery processes
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and deployment tasks through the approved ticketing system while ensuring timely updates and resolution
  • Perform data transfer, backup, restoration, and user profile migration activities as required
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory, deployment records, and technical documentation
  • Coordinate with service desk, infrastructure, networking, security, and third-party vendors for escalated technical issues
  • Conduct health checks, preventive maintenance, and routine support activities across enterprise IT equipment
  • Provide end-user guidance on workplace technologies, standard applications, and troubleshooting best practices
  • Ensure all activities are completed in compliance with security policies, operational standards, and company procedures

Requirements

Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, * Proven experience in onsite IT support, desktop support, or end-user computing support roles

  • Strong hands-on experience with device imaging, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows-based systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills across hardware, operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and enterprise tools
  • Good understanding of Active Directory, user account management, device configuration, and peripheral support
  • Experience with ticketing systems and SLA-driven support environments
  • Familiarity with device refresh, migration, deployment, or rollout projects within enterprise environments
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple support requests, and work effectively under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CompTIA A+, Microsoft, ITIL, or related certifications preferred
  • Experience with SCCM, Intune, or endpoint management tools is an advantage
  • Exposure to enterprise environments and white-glove/VIP support preferred
