Job description

Develop and maintain Java-based backend Microservices using Spring Boot
Design and implement scalable Microservices architectures
Work across database, application server, and web server layers
Integrate third-party applications and enterprise services
Collaborate with development and architecture teams to drive technical strategies and solutions
Support Agile/Scrum/SAFe development practices

Requirements

5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot
4+ years of hands-on experience developing Microservices using Spring Boot
2+ years of experience developing Microservices using Cassandra and MongoDB
2+ years of experience developing and deploying Microservices in Microsoft Azure
End-to-end development experience, including backend database, application server, and web server layers
Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ
2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and SAFe Agile
Experience integrating third-party applications, including Web Services, Tax Processors, Payment Processors, and Fulfillment systems
Strong knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (OOA/OOD)
Ability to provide strategic direction and support development/architecture teams with effective strategies and technical solutions
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

Experience implementing eCommerce solutions for multi-channel retailers
Experience with payment processing solutions
Strong experience in retail technology
Technical architecture and backend development leadership
Experience with enterprise-scale Microservices architecture
