Job description
TECKpert seeks to hire a Full Stack Software Developer to support our client, a public school district in Miami-Dade County, FL. The role supports modernization of a Student Information System for a large public school district. The developer will work as a technical expert across multiple platforms, designing and delivering enterprise-grade application and custom integration solutions, contributing to long-term IT strategy, and mentoring more junior technical staff. The work spans the full lifecycle of custom software development with a strong DevOps orientation.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy.
- Develop enterprise-level application and custom integration solutions, including major enhancements, interfaces, functions, and features.
- Use a variety of platforms to deliver automated systems applications to internal customers.
- Provide expertise on integration of applications across the business.
- Determine specifications, then plan, design, and develop the most complex and business-critical software solutions.
- Assist with the most difficult support problems and triage.
- Develop programming and development standards, procedures, and architectures for code reuse.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art programming languages and object-oriented approaches.
- Research and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and their potential application to the business.

Requirements
Do you have experience in System deployment?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred. Equivalent work experience considered.
- Typically 7 to 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience.
- Knowledge of DevOps environments and deployment workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Angular, C#, SQL databases, Python, and API development.
- Experience in mobile development for Android and Apple platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to translate highly complex technical concepts for peers and customers.
- Experience coaching and mentoring more junior technical staff.
- Experience working on highly complex projects that span multiple technical areas and business segments.
