AWS Cloud & AI Platform Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a AWS Cloud and Platform Engineer for a leading financial services client. This individual will play a critical role in driving enterprise-wide initiatives focused on vulnerability remediation, patch automation, and AI-driven operational transformation. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise in AWS and cloud technologies, hands-on experience with Generative AI solutions such as Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, or similar platforms, and a strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity operations.

This person will partner closely with infrastructure, security, architecture, and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities, accelerate remediation timelines, and improve risk reduction outcomes. The role will focus heavily on leveraging AI and LLM technologies to optimize patch management workflows, enhance decision-making, and drive innovation across technology operations. Candidates who have demonstrated success implementing AI-enabled solutions, leading technology transformation initiatives, and navigating complex enterprise environments will be highly successful in this opportunity. The team is looking for someone who is technically strong, highly adaptable, and passionate about using emerging technologies to solve large-scale operational challenges

• 6-9+ strong hands on experience with AWS working within technology, cybersecurity, infrastructure operations, engineering, or related field

• Experience implementing AI solutions beyond basic ChatGPT/Copilot usage

o Experience with AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Anthropic Claude, Azure OpenAI, or similar
