Software Test Engineer (Granada, Spain)

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our growing team in Granada!Our Technology: We’re the world leader in Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (R-PNT) solutions that improve the reliability, performance, and safety of critical high-risk operations, even in GPS/GNSS denied environments. We provide virtually fail-safe GNSS and PNT solutions for military and commercial applications worldwide. AKA- we do pretty awesome things!As a Software Automation Test Engineer, you will primarily be working on our Timing Products and our GNSS Simulation Products. You’ll be using your software test automation expertise designing and maintaining automated tests that will assist in ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction all the while working in a fun highly collaborative global environment. The position is in Granada, Spain.What you’ll be doing:Working closely with other Software Test Engineers and Software Developers designing both automated and manual test on the latest GPS-based and alternative PNT equipment and softwareTesting new products, new features and software releases to ensure our products meet the highest standards and specifications.Developing with testing tools such as Robot Framework & Selenium using PythonSupport the integration and triage of CI/CD scripts using Jenkins.Working cross-functionally with product-owners to understand their needs to develop tests to resolve their problems.Create and maintain traceability between test cases and requirements.Participating in daily SCRUM/Kanban meetingsContributing to process improvement initiativesWorking in a multi-discipline, multi-cultural environmental with cross-functional teams toward common goalsBonus points for knowledge of embedded software testing!What you Bring to Safran:BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information or related fieldMinimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar roleExperience with Python, Robot Framework, etc.Comfortable using Linux development environments and scripting languages such as Bash.Ability to communicate effectively orally and written.Ability to collaborate with in person and remote teams.Ability to have fun!Safran is an equal opportunity employer who does not discriminate based on race, color, citizenship, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran’s status or any protected category.
