Job description

We are looking for an experienced Java developer with AI/GenAI expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices, along with practical exposure to AI technologies., * Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
Integrate AI/GenAI capabilities into existing and new applications.
Work with LLMs, generative AI APIs, prompt engineering, and AI-powered applications.
Develop AI integrations using platforms/models such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or similar.
Build RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions using vector databases.
Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
Develop secure and high-performance backend services.
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, data scientists, and business teams.
Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews.
Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance.
Follow Agile/Scrum development practices.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
Strong knowledge of Java 8/11/17+.
Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST APIs, and microservices.
Good understanding of OOP, collections, multithreading, exception handling, and design patterns.
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Hands-on exposure to AI/GenAI/LLM-based application development.
Knowledge of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG is preferred.
