Job description
As a Data Center Operations (DCO) Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the physical infrastructure behind large-scale cloud services. This is a hands-on position focused on server hardware troubleshooting, break/fix repairs, infrastructure deployments, cabling, and data center operations. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working directly with technology, solving hardware issues, and operating within a fast-paced, mission-critical environment where uptime and reliability are essential., Server Hardware Support
· Troubleshoot and repair production server hardware using diagnostic tools and command-line utilities.
· Perform break/fix activities and replace failed hardware components, including:
· Hard drives (HDD/SSD), Memory (RAM), CPUs, Power supplies, Motherboards, Network Interface Cards (NICs), Fan assemblies and other server components
· Conduct server commissioning, decommissioning, upgrades, and hardware refresh activities.
· Install and deploy new server hardware through rack-and-stack operations.
Network & Cabling Infrastructure
· Install, route, label, and maintain copper and fiber optic cabling.
· Troubleshoot physical network connectivity issues.
· Perform cable tracing, validation, and physical-layer diagnostics.
· Support patch panel, switch, and cross-connect installations while maintaining cable management standards.
Data Center Operations
· Monitor system alerts and respond to hardware-related incidents.
· Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring infrastructure issues.
· Carry out scheduled maintenance and operational tasks across the data center environment.
· Accurately document work performed through ticketing systems and operational procedures.
· Adhere to change management, escalation, and operational standards.
Infrastructure & Facility Support
· Assist with rack power installations and power-path verification.
· Support low-voltage infrastructure activities.
· Conduct routine inspections of racks, hardware, and supporting infrastructure.
· Monitor environmental conditions such as airflow, temperature, and equipment health.
Maintain a safe, organized, and operationally excellent data center environment.

· Experience building, repairing, upgrading, or troubleshooting computer systems, gaming PCs, workstations, or servers.
· Basic understanding of computer hardware, server architecture, and networking fundamentals.
· Experience troubleshooting hardware issues using structured problem-solving techniques.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet for up to 12 hours in a data center environment.

Benefits & conditions
REQUIRED 12-hour shifts - 3 Days/4 Days alternating weeks schedule
Back-Half Days - From Wednesday or Thursday through Saturday
Note: While initial shifts are as described schedules may be adjusted based on business needs. This may include flexing hours extending shifts up to 12 hours potential night shifts and other changes as required. Schedule modifications will be communicated in advance when possible. The pay range for this position is $22.63 - $22.63/hr.
