Senior IP Network Engineer - Design / Engineering / P1 Support. Hybrid

This is a senior, customer-facing role where you’ll take ownership of projects from technical discovery and design through configuration, implementation and handover into BAU. You’ll consult with customers, translate requirements into effective technical solutions and produce detailed designs, configurations and project documentation. You’ll also act as a technical authority, resolve complex third-line issues and mentor other engineers.

You’ll need 5+ years’ networking and security experience, ideally at CCNP/CCIE level, with strong routing, switching, security and troubleshooting skills. Of particular interest is expertise in Network Access Control (NAC), Cisco ISE and/or Aruba ClearPass, combined with solid security architecture knowledge. Experience designing and implementing enterprise network solutions within an MSP, systems integrator or consultancy environment would be highly desirable. Broader experience across Cisco, Aruba/HPE, Meraki, Juniper, Ruckus, Arista or Extreme Networks would be valuable, particularly wireless design and deployment, SDN/SDA, Azure/AWS networking and Palo Alto or Fortinet security. Exposure to Python, Ansible and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) would also be beneficial. While networking and security are the main focus, experience with Unified Communications and Collaboration would be advantageous.
