Senior SAP S/4HANA OTC / SD Consultant

Work setup: Role is remote based out of Seattle, WA, but requires candidate flexibility to travel as needed by the client (travel and expenses ARE reimbursed by the client). Process: 1 interview only!

Familiarity with DD250 processes, WAWF invoicing, government contract requirements, FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR and WBS/EVM integration., They are looking for a very senior (10+ years) SAP S4HANA OTC specialist. NOT a lead and NOT someone with FICO/FICM experience. They must have experience with at least 2-3 full implementations. They also prefer someone from the gov/defense industry. Strong communication skills are needed. This is a defense/security project with Boeing. Candidates must be USC or GC only. They are at the beginning stages of the project. They must be hands on with configuration and implementation. This role will report to Uday along with 6 other onshore resources. This will be a long term 1+ year project because once development is done, they will be doing implementations in all plants. Go live is at least a year out.

Deliverables & Scope: S/4HANA SD/OTC configuration, interface integration design (PI/PO, IBP, AIF), blueprinting, and client process alignment., This role supports complex enterprise SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Sales & Distribution (SD) implementations specifically within the Aerospace & Defense industry. The consultant will act as a primary subject matter expert, bridging business requirements with technical execution across multi-module integrations., * Lead the end-to-end functional design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA OTC and SD modules.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate domain requirements into scalable SAP processes.
• Oversee cross-module integrations and interface touchpoints with PI/PO, IBP, and AIF systems.
• Deliver technical functional specifications, process maps, and system testing across project lifecycles.

Education: IT Degree required.

SAP S/4HANA OTC - SD (10+ yrs) - Senior-level mastery in designing, configuring, and executing Order-to-Cash and Sales & Distribution solutions in S/4HANA environments.

Aerospace & Defense Industry Experience (Required) - Direct experience applying SAP SD/OTC business processes within the Aerospace & Defense domain.

Active SAP Certifications - Candidate must hold active and verifiable SAP certifications.

Citizenship: US Citizen or Green Card holder only.

NICE-TO-HAVES

Hands-on experience with PI/PO, IBP, and AIF cross-module integrations and interface management.

Strong leadership, client-facing presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

DISQUALIFIERS

Candidates on H1B, OPT, CPT, or requiring visa sponsorship (strictly restricted to GC or USC).

Lack of an IT degree or lack of active SAP certifications.

Lack of direct Aerospace & Defense industry experience.

Inability or unwillingness to travel as needed for client engagements, * 8+ years SAP implementation experience, including hands-on SAP S/4HANA configuration in SD, integration with MM, FI/CO and related modules.

• Proven experience implementing OTC/SD processes in defense or highly regulated industries, including MTO and MTS order flows.
• Direct experience with third-party billing/drop-ship implementations in S/4HANA and EDI integrations.
• Familiarity with DD250 processes, WAWF invoicing, government contract requirements, FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR and WBS/EVM integration.
• Strong experience with integration technologies (SAP CPI/PI, middleware, EDI, GEX/WAWF connectors).
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive workshops, and translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
• Experience with data migration tools and master data governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience with Agile and/or hybrid delivery methods and tools (JIRA, Confluence).

Preferred / nice-to-have

• Prior implementation experience at aerospace OEMs, prime contractors or defense subcontractors.
• Background in Earned Value Management (EVM) and Program Controls integration to SAP.
• Experience with SAP EWM, TM or Advanced ATP in complex supply chains.
• Certifications: SAP S/4HANA (functional/technical), PMP, PMI-ACP, or Six Sigma.
• Experience with WAWF/GEX automation and government portals integration.
