IBMi(iSeries) Engineer

We are seeking a Senior IBMi(iSeries) Engineer to drive the AI-enabled modernization of vulnerability patching. This role focuses on developing agent-based automation to accelerate remediation and reduce security risk. The position involves designing and developing AI-driven automation frameworks for IBMi(iSeries) OS patching and ensuring the reliability and scalability of these solutions., * Lead the design and development of AI-driven automation frameworks for IBMi(iSeries) OS patching.

• Build and deploy agent-based workflows to orchestrate vulnerability remediation at scale.
• Integrate AI agents with IBMi(iSeries) systems, APIs, and security tooling.
• Partner with infrastructure and security teams to prioritize and execute patching initiatives.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and operational readiness of automation solutions.

• 10+ years of experience in IBMi(iSeries) infrastructure engineering installation and testing.
• Hands-on experience developing AI/agent-based automation frameworks and agents.
• Strong Python programming skills in enterprise environments.
• Experience developing and integrating with IBMi(iSeries) APIs.
• Experience operating in large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agent-based or autonomous system architectures.
• Experience with IBMi(iSeries) tooling supporting end-to-end vulnerability patching.
• Exposure to AIOps or AI applied to IBMi(iSeries) infrastructure operations.
