Job description
Clearance Needed: TS/SCI
Are you ready to apply your database management expertise to work supporting a critical mission in the PACOM region? The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter who can work across multiple staff sections to maintain data entry quality, administer workflows, develop leadership-ready dashboards and metrics, and support intelligence reporting requirements.
This position is specifically focused on database administration, data standardization, workflow management, reporting, user support, and process improvement in support of DoW mission objectives.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Work closely with client staff, managers, analysts, and other mission partners to plan, develop, analyze, and represent information in support of operational, intelligence, and reporting objectives.
- Serve as a database subject-matter expert; configure, maintain, tailor, and improve workflows, dashboards, data sources, visualizations, and queries.
- Review, validate, standardize, edit, and correct data entries to ensure accurate metadata, tagging, field descriptors, references, and other information required for reliable dashboards, metrics, and reporting.
- Manage the administrative lifecycle of ad-hoc and standing requests, mission products, and related submissions, including intake review, serialization, routing, tracking, quality control, and status management.
- Develop and deliver data-derived metrics, dashboards, visualizations, Congressional-description inputs, and briefing materials in support of senior-leader updates, Commanders Update Briefs, and other mission requirements.
- Train personnel on database use, data-entry standards, and RFI administrative procedures; develop user guides and process documentation; and use approved Microsoft tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Forms, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel, to improve data workflows and reporting processes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree in intelligence studies, data analytics, information systems, knowledge management, criminal justice, or a related field; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience working directly on database management and data entry
- Experience applying data-quality, standardization, metadata, tagging, validation, and discrepancy-resolution practices to structured operational or intelligence information.
- Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into coherent dashboards, reports, briefing materials, and other products for senior leaders and external stakeholders.
- Effective organizational, planning, time-management, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently while responding promptly to changing mission requirements.
- Valid U.S. passport and active DoD TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Maven Smart System (MSS) and Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE) or similar databases
- Experience supporting USPACOM, or comparable intelligence or operational staff organizations.
- Previous experience supporting DoW counter-drug, counter-threat finance, law-enforcement coordination, or transnational criminal organization mission sets.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Forms, and related workflow-automation or data-management capabilities.
- All-source intelligence analyst, law-enforcement, interagency coordination, or intelligence-reporting experience.
Security Clearance Requirement: An active Top Secret security clearance is required to apply, however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance prior to the start date.
