Requirements

The qualified candidate must have experience/skills in the following areas:

5+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment
Python/Web frameworks
SQL / MySQL
RDBMS and database design
AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, SQS)
Kubernetes, Istio, ArgoCD
Unit/functional testing
Linux/UNIX
API design and implementation
Comfortable working with stakeholders outside the Engineering team, including Product, Sales, and Account Management teams
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
Self-starter, but very comfortable working closely with a team

Nice to have skills include:

Python/MySQL experience
SQL performance tuning
Microservice architecture
Kafka / Celery / Flask / Django / Supervisor / MongoDB
DevOps experience
Jira or other project management tools
Java
Postgres
