Job description

This is a hands-on role, not a big enterprise Head of Operations position. You’ll be owning the live service across a small support function and working closely with Data, DevOps, Platform and Software teams.

Requirements

Live service / IT operations ownership
Incident, problem, change and release management
Major incident coordination
Service Desk leadership
SLA / KPI reporting and service performance
Continual service improvement
Strong stakeholder management
Comfortable operating in a technical, public sector environment

The role also needs someone resilient and pragmatic who can manage challenging stakeholders and stay close to the detail.

Outside IR35
Fully remote, UK based
Initial contract through to Feb 2027
Good chance of extension
Current SC assumed for now
