Job description

Design, build and ship financial technology products
Work across the development lifecycle from understanding the problem through to getting software into production
Explore existing systems and codebases to understand product problems
Turn product requirements into implementation plans
Use AI to accelerate implementation, review output, test it and ship it responsibly
Write, refactor and review code
Generate tests and investigate bugs
Research unfamiliar technologies and produce documentation
Automate repetitive engineering work
Take ownership of problems and contribute to better software design and architecture

Requirements

Several years of professional software development experience
Comfortable independently delivering production software
Experience with C# and .NET, or strong experience in another modern backend ecosystem
Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript
Experience with Next.js or similar modern frontend frameworks
Experience with modern web application development
Experience with relational databases and data modelling
Experience with APIs and integrations
Experience testing and debugging production applications
Experience with Git and collaborative software development
Experience with cloud infrastructure and application deployment
Experience reviewing code and making architectural decisions
