UST is looking for the very Top Talent…and we would be delighted if you were to join our family!More in details, UST is a multinational company based in North America, certified as a Top Employer and Great Place to Work company with over ** employees all over the world and presence in more than 35 countries.We are leaders on digital technology services, and we provide large-scale technologic solutions to big companies.What are we looking for?We are looking for aData Scientist , working close to one of our main clients in banking sector.Main tasks and accountabilities will be:Lead end-to-end development of data-driven models, from exploratory analysis and feature engineering to modelling, validation, deployment, monitoring, and comprehensive documentationDesign, build, and optimise robust data pipelines to ensure high-quality, reliable, and timely access to structured and semi-structured financial datasetsDevelop and enhance solutions for identifying and resolving financial data anomalies, including prototyping novel algorithms and improving existing methodologiesDefine and implement meaningful performance metrics and impact assessments to evaluate model effectiveness against clear business objectivesSupport the migration and integration of current models into a new enterprise-grade data science platform, ensuring scalability, reproducibility, and complianceCreate intuitive, interactive dashboards (e.g., via Tableau or similar tools) to visualise insights and facilitate stakeholder engagementCollaborate actively in agile, multidisciplinary teams - championing best practices, peer review, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvementWhat UST expects from you?3+ years of experience inPythonfor data analysis and automation (libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, PyTorch/TensorFlow); solid command of SQL for querying large-scale databasesSound theoretical understanding of core probability and statistics concepts, along with familiarity with popular machine learning methods (experience with recommendation systems is a plus)Hands?on experience in extracting, transforming, organizing, and interpreting dataMaster’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field (completed or in the process of completing)Good English level (C1) you will be working with international teams.Nice to hace:Basic understanding of financial markets and products is a plusFamiliarity with software engineering and DevOps principles, particularly around code versioning (Git), testing, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly valuedHybrid.Madrid city center (Sol area).3 days a week in the office.Business Hours.No intensive working days for friday or summer.What can we offer??? 23 days of Annual Leave plus the 24th and 31st of December as discretionary days!??
