Remote Full Stack Developer

Zephyrus Engineering Limited is seeking an experienced and proactive Remote Full Stack Developer to join our team. As a key player in our technology division, you’ll develop and maintain web applications that support and enhance our engineering solutions. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you’ll be responsible for building seamless and scalable applications that optimize our operations and enrich user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using modern frameworks.

• Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive, user-centered interfaces.

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services for enhanced functionality.

Database Management:

• Design and manage SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring integrity and accessibility.

• Optimize database performance and structure for efficiency and scalability.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Write and execute automated tests, and conduct code reviews to uphold code quality.

• Identify and resolve issues swiftly to maintain a smooth, error-free user experience.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather and fulfill project requirements.

• Engage in agile practices, including sprint planning and daily check-ins.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay current with software development trends, tools, and best practices.

• Actively contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior developers.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Strong experience with back-end technologies: Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java.

• Familiarity with databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.

• Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices.

Experience:

• 3+ years of full stack development experience, ideally within an engineering or technical environment.

• Proven success in delivering reliable, high-quality web applications.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a remote environment.

• Self-driven and organized, with strong time management skills for independent work.

Pay Range: $42.50 - $60.50 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours daily (40 hours weekly)
