Job description

We are seeking a Senior Custom Software Engineer to join a mission-critical financial services initiative for a leading US banking client. This role is responsible for driving full-stack application development, shaping modern microservices architecture, and implementing resilient AWS cloud solutions. The engineer will mentor technical staff, establish secure coding standards, and deliver high-performance systems in an agile ecosystem. DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

Architect, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack applications using Java/Spring backend and React or Angular frontend.
Lead design sessions, technical roadmap alignment, and product backlog refinement with Solution Architects and Product Owners.
Define engineering standards, secure coding guidelines (OWASP), and enforce best practices via comprehensive code reviews.
Guide cloud-native architectural patterns across containerized (EKS/ECS) and serverless (Lambda, API Gateway) environments.
Drive CI/CD automation, DevOps maturity, and observability strategies across production workloads.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while influencing cross-team technical strategies., * Architect and build enterprise full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and React or Angular.
Design and implement modern cloud applications across AWS services including serverless, containerized workloads, and relational/NoSQL databases.
Establish automated CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and production observability to maintain platform reliability.
