Quality Records and Data Control Specialist

This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of aircraft maintenance and logistics records within a part 145 helicopter repair environment. You will manage technical data, process incoming parts and materials, maintain compliance documentation, and support maintenance and repair operations through meticulous data entry, document control, and quality assurance activities., * Receive and process incoming parts and materials, verify documentation, and ensure all receiving records are complete and properly routed to the appropriate work centers.

• Research aircraft records for Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs), and update or create compliance logs to maintain accurate regulatory and maintenance histories.
• Perform data entry by recording operational and maintenance information into multiple company databases and spreadsheets with a high degree of accuracy.
• Maintain and control technical data by ensuring current revisions of technical manuals are available and by reviewing maintenance tracking software for correct data links and version accuracy.
• Scan hardcopy aircraft and component records and upload digital files to company servers and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) tracking systems.
• Create, process, close, and finalize work orders, review part documentation, and assist with the entry of maintenance records to support efficient repair and overhaul processes.
• Ensure recordkeeping is accurate and complete, including documentation of parts traceability and calibration records for precision measuring equipment and test apparatus.
• Assist with inspection of repair environments to support safety adherence and compliance with established safety rules, regulations, and protocols, helping to prevent hazards and incidents.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with colleagues, customers, and leadership in both verbal and written forms to prevent maintenance and logistics delays and support on-time deliveries.
• Work independently and reliably, completing routine tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining a professional work ethic and high standards of quality.
• Support document review and quality assurance activities to verify the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of maintenance and inventory documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a part 145 repair station or aviation maintenance environment.
• Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) tracking systems and work order processing.
• in document review and quality assurance activities within an ISO-quality or similarly structured environment.
• Experience with inventory documentation and data management processes.
• Comfort working with spreadsheets and technical data control tools.
