Hardware-in-the-Loop Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Hardware-in-the-Loop Engineer for a local client. This engineer will help build and support a new Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing environment, focused on developing modular test benches that simulate complex hardware systems. Day to day, they will design electrical architectures, power distribution systems, signal mappings, and test interfaces, while executing bench bring-up activities including harness integration, power sequencing, and communication validation across EtherCAT, CAN, SPI, and I2C. Working closely with Electrical, Firmware, Software, and Hardware teams, they will support system integration, testing, and validation efforts. In the current phase, the role is approximately 80% development and 20% debugging, with responsibilities that include troubleshooting communication failures, electrical faults, harness issues, and hardware/software integration challenges using tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. The ideal candidate will be

able to independently diagnose issues, perform root cause analysis, and help accelerate the delivery of a scalable, repeatable HIL testing platform., * 5+ years of experience in HIL, Electrical Test Engineer, Validation Engineering, or Systems Test Engineering

• Hardware-in-the-loop Engineering experience
